Diane Lundy, keyboards
Diane was born into a musical family, and quickly went about showing that she fit in. She began playing piano in the second grade, took up the flute in junior high, and was a member of the marching band at Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, where she was directed by DCJB member David Pittman. Diane has had a lifelong involvement with church music, including singing in church choirs since age five, playing in handbell choirs since age nine, and serving as a church organist for over five years. She is currently a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church, where she is active in the Adult Choir, Ladies Handbell Choir, and Orchestra.

Rusty Averitt, drums
A letter carrier by day, Rusty delivered his musical skills to the DCJB in 2002. In joining the band, he was reunited with Tom Fletcher and Randy Morrison, two college mates of his from East Texas State University in Commerce. Rusty has played over the years with musicians such as Jack Melick, Mal Fitch, Chuck Arlington, Al Denson, Steve Allen, Sherman Andrus (the Imperials) and David Phelps (the Gaithers), as well as with the 5th Army Band and the San Antonio Little Theater. He has been with the group Doc and the Gang for 15 years, and also plays with Swing Street Connection. In addition to his U.S. Postal Service job, he teaches drum lessons at North Lake College and Brook Mays Music. He is a member of Irving's Plymouth Park Baptist Church, where he plays in the orchestra and volunteers in the youth ministry.

Steve Webb, bass
When you consider that Steve plays bass guitar, french horn, trumpet, and tuba, it should come as no surprise that one of his hobbies is collecting musical instruments. A graduate of South Garland High School, Steve attended Eastfield Junior College, where he sang with a vocal jazz ensemble. He also studied as a vocal music major at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. Steve currently is Worship Pastor at Creekside Bible Fellowship in Rowlett, just outside Dallas. He previously served as music minister at Orchard Hills Baptist Church in Garland, and also works as an automotive technician. In addition to the DCJB, Steve is a member of the Singing Men of Texas.

Jeff Kauffman, guitar
Jeff joined the DCJB in 2004. Born and raised in Venezuela, he joined the Up With People organization as a guitarist and toured the U.S. during the country's bicentennial year. He later studied music at the University of North Texas in Denton. Jeff's musical experience includes playing with several Dallas-area bands, both Christian and secular, as well as session work for Singleton Productions. He has played in the worship band at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall since 1990, and traveled to the 2000 Olympics in Sydney as part of a worship band leading services for athletes. Jeff has worked for UPS for over 23 years and also teaches guitar.
