Big band. Big message.

The Dallas Christian Jazz Band is a nondenominational big band dedicated to bringing meaningful and exciting Christian music to audiences across Dallas-Fort Worth and beyond.

Founded in 1994, the DCJB is made up of saxophones, trombones, trumpets and a rhythm section. The group's members, led by Music Director David Kelley, are dedicated musicians of all ages, backgrounds and church affiliations.

The DCJB features dynamic arrangements of familiar hymns, spirituals and other Christian music. Christmas music is played each year during the holiday season.

To date, the band has recorded three compact discs. He's Everything To Me (1998) and Sermonette (2004) highlight the band's Christian music, while Christmas with the Dallas Christian Jazz Band (1999) features both sacred and secular holiday favorites. The group's recordings have been heard on local radio and are available at all DCJB appearances as well as through this Web site.
